Went out looking for Bullfinches – seen and heard but not photographed. Was prepared for them to be rather shy and distant so attached the Nikon V1 to the 300mm with 2x tele-convertor. With good light and a tripod this is a perfectly good combination.
There were lots of Fieldfare (Turdus pilaris) in the fields and got a picture of a Dunnock (Prunella modularis).
