Bullfinches everywhere.
Everywhere I went there were Bullfinches seen or heard, but does a Bullfinch ever sit out in the open ?
Having seen three foxes on Saturday morning I tried predict their locations on Sunday for a decent picture. It worked rather too
well as I got within 5 feet of a fox before either of us realised the other was there ... no picture of that fox.

Snow in Otford
Out at dawn while the snow was still fresh looking for Foxes. There were many tracks in the snow but the only Fox was seen later in the day. The Yellowhammers were back feeding on the field margins like last year but were more wary ...
Yellowhammer in Snow 2010
A Bullfinch was seen and several more heard near to Shoreham. It was left to the Goldfinches for the picture of the day - photographed infront of a snow covered Pyracantha.

Sculthorpe Moor, Norfolk
No sign of any Otters but found a few likely spots for waiting next time round. Extra time spent at Sculthorpe Moor, a Hawk and Owl Trust site which hosts the magnificent Marsh Harrier. A small but wonderful site with lots of see just outside of Fakenham.

Ditton Quarry Bullfinch

Into the third year of visiting Ditton Quarry trying to get a damn fine picture of the amazing Bullfinch. Getting better but there's still a much better picture to take. Just need to wait for the birds to come a little closer ... once there are leaves on the trees think will have to wait until Autumn again.
Also a warbler of some sort - a Chiff Chaff or Willow Warbler ?
