Spring starting. Otford fields
Hard frost last weekend and once again found the Yellowhammers singing at Dawn in the fields. This weekend the sun is out and many Small Tortoiseshells were basking in the sun.

Yellowhammers in the snow
Couple of ferocious days out in the fields with over a foot of snow and some bitingly cold winds. Unable to get to work due to a lack of trains I found Yellowhammer and Blue tits on a local walk fighting to survive this early cold snap.
